Kahaani is a suspense drama. Vidya Bagchi played by Vidya Balan, is a pregnant woman who comes from London to Kolkata in search of her missing husband.

The story is engaging and thrilling and so is the screenplay. The screenplay can become confusing as the events unfold at a very fast pace. The drama keeps the audience engaged and it will especially appeal to the classes. The climax is superb. Dialogues are appropriate.



Vidya Balan delivers an award winning performance as she lives the role of Vidya Bagchi Other performances are top notch. The director has done complete justice to the script. The backdrop of Kolkata has been used very well in the film. Other technical aspects are of a high order.
